Would you like to make a difference for older people in your community? Find out about volunteering for Age UK.
In the run up to the festive season we are very lucky to be receiving a fantastic number of enquiries - but it does mean that we might be taking a little longer than we might like to respond.
Volunteer and make a difference
All of our volunteer roles support Age UK to change lives and help older people love later life.
You can support us to make a difference to the lives of older people, by doing anything from helping out in our highstreet shops to volunteering at one of our events, or running your own computer training class. However you'd like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you
Finding the right role for you
To help find the role that best fits each volunteer we ask people to complete an application form and speak to a staff member about how they would like to volunteer. In addition, many volunteering roles involve contact with vulnerable older people so references and checks are required as a legal requirement and under our safeguarding practices.
If you want to make a difference straight away, why not consider these informal opportunities to help older people love later life?
